Kia today unveiled the first photos of its highly anticipated electric SUV, the EV9, which will be based on the e-GMP platform. The photos reveal a sleek and modern design, highlighting the vehicle's status as a premium electric SUV (length about 4,9 m).
The e-GMP platform is designed specifically for electric vehicles and offers several benefits, including a longer driving range, faster charging times, and improved performance.
Kia has not yet released any information on the EV9 performance or pricing, but it is expected to be a premium electric SUV that will compete with other high-end electric vehicles in the market. The EV9 is part of Kia's broader strategy to launch seven new electric vehicles by 2026 and achieve a 20% share of the global EV market by 2025.
KIA will release detailed technical information by the end of March.
